Institutional Millwork Modifications for Mechanical Upgrades

Closet modifications and access work across multiple classrooms for HVAC installation

Project Overview

This project involved large-scale millwork modifications across multiple classrooms within an institutional facility in the GTA. The scope focused on enabling HVAC upgrades while maintaining safe and functional use of the space.

Work included opening and modifying 16 closets across 16 different classrooms to create space for VRF mechanical units for heating and cooling. In addition, access points were created above each closet to allow for ductwork installation and proper system integration.

Following mechanical completion, all areas were carefully closed, reinforced, and refinished to ensure they were safe, clean, and fully usable for students and staff. All work was completed with attention to durability and safety within an active institutional environment.
